Warchild ('78 Demo)

Warchild, your heart is broken
Your mind is breakin', it's such a shame
Warchild, your body's broken
Your woman's taken, it's not a game
People once shared your wisdom
Shared your memory, shared your dreams
Now your thoughts have all been shattered
What once was rhythm are now just screams
Warchild, I used to love you
The whole world loved you, we used to care
Warchild, your mind has been emptied
So all you do now is just sit n' stare
People once shared your wisdom
Shared your memory, shared your dreams
Now your thoughts have all been shattered
What once was rhythm are now just screams
Your lady's waiting, she's hesitating
Not knowing why
Warchild, the pain you're showing
The pain is knowing that you're gonna die
People once shared your wisdom
Shared your memory, shared your dreams
Now your thoughts have all been shattered
What once was rhythm are now just screams

The Same Mother

They each shared
the same mother
shared the same loss of her

when the time came
gave the same

when she was

whom they shared
with no other
one with whom

they shared

sitting quietly
face to face
sharing a secret

with just the two
at some given time

at some particular place
some given year
to share a problem

At First Sight

Before false interferences twist mind,
distort perceptions caught, one ought to try
to focus clearly, spirit satisfy,
sharing impressions which should never die
while magic taps into soul’s spring to bind
one day’s events to sense. Here's underlined
empathy with which all identify,
walls fall, emotions' limitless supply.
One chance glance dance askance left half-truth, lie.

Replete with red rose, awed, decor refined,
two former strangers kismet met, good-bye
forever was forgotten as July
supplanted January on the sly.
Earth's seasons topsy-turvy turned as eye
encountered eye which rich dreams decked behind
blocks' veil to comfort karma pre-designed.
Charmed pair shared earth, air, water, fire, entwined,
rebirth freed from dearth's desert dusty, dry.
27 October 1990 revised1 7 June 1991 3 May 2005 and
0 January 2012 for previous version see below

Once in a lifetime favoured few may find
such inspiration words can’t even try
to pin down, predefine, or qualify,
limit, understate or question why,
scorn karma as coincidence or lie.
Yesterday, by more than chance, I dined
across from eyes whose energies unwind,
sensed shocks synaptic instantly defy
Time itself, felt souls electrify.

Here differences dissolved, fears undermined.
That first glance opened understanding. Blind
before ‘one’ must have been, with every tie
from gravity released, - no low, no high -
as everywhere twinned spirits teamed, naught awry.
Base substance shed, trite trammels left behind,
We walked on air, all purer felt, refined,
senses swam, consumed - hedged bets unwind -
completion's joy few mortals quantify.

The message all embraced and somehow signed
dimensions new whose rainbow hues deny
time and space, displace doubts, multiply
empathy, empowering wings to fly.
Magnified magnficence might find
its place in all, for all was redefined ~
impression that itself was heightened by
acceptance shared, that nothing could deny.

In Her Dark Citadel (Revised)

I am so glad to be led by Madame Pompadour,
her employees are irksome self-motivated prigs
dissatisfied as their central value, the ethic of
the hard-working Calvinist, showing a lack of
ambition; is trampled beneath Madame's feet as
only dishonesty pays, she is ashamed of her
underlings; she says

Madame Pompadour shows grand ambition by
sneering at work ethics and showing utter
disdain for everyone except her own arrogant
self, she spreads the bitterness eating away
at her soul by destroying work enjoyment, re-
lationships and processes, she thrives
on discontent

She detests the culture of her underlings, their
behaviors, attitudes, assumptions, beliefs; it's
an affront contravening her ideal of sharing un-
happiness equally; she stamps on undue diligence,
the unspoken, unwritten rules followed by those
coming in early, leaving late, making every
due date

She counteracts them by staying home, not
being on time, shouting at clients and service
providers alike, playing cards at work; this is
her way to fulfill ambitions her behaviour
proclaims, belittling everyone without rank
or status to fight injustice when she rates
them badly or refuses permission to leave

She runs her world to her satisfaction, no ethic
or moral principle is brooked in her reign of
terror, making a stand Voldemort would envy,
a representative of Nietsche's Ubermensch,
hooray for Madame La Pompadour - supreme
in her dark citadel!

And you were closin the gate
From your fair we dem (? ? ? )
Your eyes were rough again
I thought I knew you when
I remember the night
Uh you blew away
You just couldnt wait
You were weakened with love

Caked In Dust

Nit picking is your 'special' gift.
And you snicker when you wish to needle.
Knowing it annoys a bit.

I'm bottled up.
You don't seem to know when it's enough.
I wish I could adhesive tape,
The flow of the rushing stuff...
I would love to hush up.

I'm bottled up.
And feeling like I'm sinking in a tub.
Corrupted by the notion this is love.
But the love I felt is caked in dust...
And pains me in the gut.

I'm bottled up.
And feeling pricked, nit picked and needled.
Bottled up.
Like a pin stuck through a beetle.
Bottled up!
And feeling pricked, nit picked and needled.
And this sickens me to heave...
Too weakened I am I can't leave.

I'm bottled up.
And feeling pricked, nit picked and needled.
Bottled up.
Like a pin stuck through a beetle.
Bottled up!
And feeling pricked, nit picked and needled.
And this sickens me to heave...
Too weakened I am I can't leave.

I'm bottled up.
Too weakened I am I can't leave.
And I know this gives you pleasing relief!

More In An Inescapable Desperation

I'm in no longer with a 'need' for you.
I desire for this bleeding,
To stop my 'wanting'.
You are there in my mind,
Haunting.

I...I...

And I wish to let go!
But nowhere can it be dropped!
In my heart that beats...
Your presence is complete.
Unstoppable...
As if a craving has been started!

I'm in no longer with a 'need' for you.
You are within me.
In every move I take...
My breath is yours!
And there is no escape.

I...I...
I am adoring you!

I once was able to fake your importance.
But now you have become my life!
I'm in no longer with a 'need' for you.
I am more in an inescapable desperation!
Fixed.
And I admit this situation.
Desperate...
But somehow elated!

I...I...
I am adoring you!

I'm in no longer with a 'need' for you.
You are within me.
In every move I take...
My breath is yours!
And there is no escape.

I...

Weakened is my wish to let you go.
Weakened I am feeling this...
As if a conflict within goes.

But nowhere can you be dropped!
In my heart that beats...

Seeking Reason

Slowly I get the feeling...
I love the way you move.
Gee baby,
And your attitude...
Oh honey,
What would I do?
If you decide to leave me...
On the streets.
And,
All alone to feel so...
Incomplete to weep.
In a weakened state of mind.
And,
Blinded by ill disposition!

And,
Without a night of sleep...
Seeking-more-than-reason!

Oh...
All alone to feel so...
Incomplete to weep.
In a weakened state of mind.
And,
Blinded by ill disposition!

Slowly I get the feeling...
I love the way you move.
Gee baby,
And your attitude...

Somebody Stole My Rig

I'm haulin' twenty tons of freight into New York state
Started thinkin' bout Mary Jane
She lived over the hill I had an hour to kill I thought I'd get in out of the rain
Oh my she looked so fine had a bottle of wine
I'd have myself a little bitty swig
Then I heard wheels on the cinders and I ran to the windows
And somebody stole my rig
Oh oh oh somebody stole my rig somebody stole my rig
Heard wheels on the cinders and I ran to the windows
And somebody stole my rig

And when I called up the cops told 'em I tried to stop 'em
And nobody answered the phone
And so I called up my honey told her send me bus money
She said don't bother comin' home
And so I called the boss and said the load was lost
I thought he's gonna flip his wig
Yeah a moment quick enjoyment now I'm back on unemployment
Cause somebody stole my rig
Oh somebody stole my rig somebody stole my rig
Hey a moment quick enjoyment now I'm back on unemployment
Cause somebody stole my rig

But if I ever get a job behind the wheel again
I'm never gonna fool around
I'll keep an eye on the road and an eye on the load
I'll never even slow it down
And I'll stay concerned with the lesson I learned
I bet it's gonna change my luck
And I'll never leave a truck to go visit no girl
I'm gonna bring the girls to the truck
Oh somebody stole my rig somebody stole my rig
Moment quick enjoyment now I'm back on unemployment
Cause somebody stole my rig
Yeah wheels on the cinders and I ran to the windows
And somebody stole my rig
(Yeah I tell ya my blackbook was in the glove compartment
That's what really bugs me uh huh
I I din't mind walkin' or losin' my job or anythin'
Somebody stole my rig
I mean they could have borrowed it and ask me before...)

Siblings Are Friends You Just Can't Get Rid Of

Siblings are enemies you cannot escape
Bound by blood
Bound by history
You know the real me
What's behind the mask I wear for others to see
Shared parents and vacations, and long Sunday drives
You always got the window seat ‘cause you got car sick - yeah right!
We shared a dinner table and breakfast...and bad manners too
A shared room, a shared mess, a shared bed, (the wetting was you)
We made mud pies together, and ate them, (or at least we tasted)
You gave me measles. I gave you mumps. (Those fevers truly sucked)
We nursed one another's heartbreaks
We dried each other's tears
We yelled and screamed, you said you hated me
You're a day person. I'm a night
You wanted to be early but I made you late
We became adults together
Buried our parents side-by-side
I hurt your feelings. You made me angry
We were callous and mean without even thinking
You weren't my friend, just a sibling, biologically speaking
Just someone I'm stuck with who lives down the hall
Or in the next town, or the far side of the planet....that's all
I didn't choose you, you know
And you would never have picked me
We only share parents
And some, (well a lot) , of memories
And a hometown, and I guess a private joke or two
I don't have to like you just because of those things, true?
But others in the family keep dragging us back together
Christmas lunch, family picnics, if I could stay home I'd rather
Then I forget what you did
You forget what I said
So we hug and we cry
It's been so long. Why?
We're just friends, (bound by blood) , that we just can't get rid of
Nor would we want to
Because....what in this world would I do
If ever I had to live my life without you

Peace Award to Barack Obama

Awarded to one head of nation
Who thinks he doesn't deserve
But feels honoured to be
in the company of those
who in centuries have worked for peace.

Awarded to one head of a nation
with his shared vision on peace
in political campaigns, dialogues
and speeches, a shared aspiration
of all the international communities..

An award to one head of states, worthy
to be shared with those who actively
and silently have worked for peace
and upheld the dignity of all persons
irrespective of their colour, sex and ages.

A Nobel Peace Prize of Peace to Obama,
a common award worthy to be shared
with soldiers and mothers, common citizens
and philanthropists, students, teachers, scientists
and activists and all those who fight that the world
we live in maybe a safe habitat for all.

Yes, let this shared peace award to one head of state
be a continuous call to common action
against the grave economic crises in treasuries,
the climate change in the globe of earth,
the escalation of military weapons
and the wage against the tentacles of terror.

Whatever Brings Joy to Life

Blessed be every woman/man busy
in their work whether assigned necessity whether
Home Office Truck Counter or Assembly
May each find fulfilling craft service or trade
each gifted fair and equal pay for the
stress and sweat sacrificed in their labor

whether working or out of work
single or with family jobs will
always be a source of certain stress
It's finding our own enjoyment
healthy balanced ways to mange and cope

perhaps an occasional drink or smoke
exercise and eating right while still
having your cake and eating it too
laughter shared with friends/family
outdoors or in a cozy room
in private sit in silence listening to the storm
in public laugh at humorous scenes whether
mundane out of the ordinary embarrassing or obscene

a kiss a caress a touch a smile
guiding advice conversation a comment or comforting stare
anything to let fellow loved ones know you are there

herbal remedies or prescription medication a brisk walk
relaxation techniques or transcendental meditation
whatever keeps the mind
from falling back into everyday stress induced depression
read a book magazine an article bird call people watch
follow signs chase visions donate money donate time

walk the dog pet the cat play with the kids
pray take out the boat take a trip go for a ride
listen to music pick up an instrument
appreciate nature appreciate art
take out the bike go for a hike
sing dance spin kick flip
play sport stretch or jump for joy
do karate be brave sing karaoke
be fearless in front of the mic
pick up the pen and write

Anything at all that brings enjoyment to life

It's The Flair That's There

It's not one's style that corrupts.
Or what one does to give up,
To crucial benefit.

It's not the touches so much,
That others can't get enough...
To crucial benefit.

It's the flair that's there,
Offends and people perceive.

It's not one's style that corrupts.

Struggle

There was a hint of danger
They told him its ok
There was a chance of failure
They told him its alright
A false security driven by
A weakened state of mind
Its calling and calling
He had a big decision
They told him its ok
Bound by his inhibitions
They told him its alright
Time for reality
Time to gain control of his own life
Its calling and calling
Do you know what is wrong?
Try to keep it in line
You cant go back (cant go back)
There must be something
He tried
Once was not enough
They told him its alright
He tried
Wasnt good enough
That doesnt make it right
There was a hint of danger
They told him its ok
There was a chance of failure
They told him its alright
A false security driven by

Its calling and calling

Fearsome Storm

to release the poet in you
get to the person you are
unleash the spirits in you
tear down the fence yoiu
have locked yourself in

commit all the mistakes
you want to - crimes are not
allowed but mistakes
yes you can
and the funny thing is
they do a heaven of good
to you

remember
edward Jenner's
misplaced petri dish
that turned out a
weakened virus
to save a million
million lives
it had started out small
and weak like a msitake

mistakes make
you stronger as you accept its
challenge to seek the
knowledge hidden
behind each of them

once corrected the
new findings sticks
so much easier
and stronger like
a weakened virus
that could take on
the stronger ones
for immunity to work

in the sky of every
lesson learnt from mistakes
is that luminuous light that
streaks across the mind to
hold us in delight

there is always so much to gain
from a fearsome storm

the crisp, cool and appetising air
that cleanses the lungs

Getting Bodacious and Less Discreet

The guys lay in secret with misters.
Laying discreeted doing dirty deeds.
Some downlow on hands and knees,
And all bugged out with plugged up mouths.

The guys lay in secret with misters.
None denying they've come out of the closet.
Few denying they now cruise on the streets.

The guys lay in secret with misters.
Some are married and some are not.
Some just started and they like it a lot.

The guys lay in secret with misters.
It may be caused by the economy.
With some feeling weakened,
With effeminate needs.
And some feeling weakened,
With a need to please.

The guys lay in secret with misters.
None denying they've come out of the closet.
Few denying they now cruise on the streets.

The guys lay in secret with misters.
Some are married and some are not.
Some just started and they like it a lot.

The guys lay in secret with misters.
Laying discreeted doing dirty deeds.
Some downlow on hands and knees,
And all bugged out with plugged up mouths.

You know the guys lay in secret with misters.
And getting bodacious and less discreet.
Getting bodacious and less discreet.

You know the guys lay in secret with misters.
And getting bodacious and less discreet.
Getting bodacious and less discreet.

You know the guys lay in secret with misters.

Many Will Come to Know The Effectiveness

Many are realizing,
At their tremendous mental
And,
Physical expense
Realities maintained,
On the telling of lies
Becomes a weakened defense,
Against the power of truth.

Denials raised to stay committed,
To defy what is presented
Once truth begins to combat deceit.
Creates a massive turnaround of events,
The telling of lies can not defeat.

Many are realizing,
At their tremendous mental
And,
Physical expense
Realities maintained,
On the telling of lies
Becomes a weakened defense,
Against the power of truth.

And the evidence of that,
Does not need
A group of experienced archaeologists feeding,
Findings discovered.
In ancient dusted fields.

What is as it is observed,
No longer can deceit conceal.
There 'is' most definitely a reality.
One we all will come to touch, see and feel
As 'thee' truth upon us revealed,
Is unmistaken for its authenticity.

Choose to like it, ignore it or leave it alone.
Many will come to know the effectiveness of it.
And masquerading truth is not condoned.

'How did you know 'that'?
I was private and discreet.'

Truth is not like deceit to be hidden.
And those unaware of that,
Find themselves victims of their own entrapment.

'Where did you study this? '
You are pitiful.

My Needs Not Met

I'm manifesting something brittle.
Something needing special company.
I fiddle-faddled in the middle.
And weakened both batteries.

I'm manifesting something brittle.
And I'm seeking from you empathy...

And now I find myself...
Walking up and down the streets.
