Whatever Brings Joy to Life
Blessed be every woman/man busy
in their work whether assigned necessity whether
Home Office Truck Counter or Assembly
May each find fulfilling craft service or trade
each gifted fair and equal pay for the
stress and sweat sacrificed in their labor
whether working or out of work
single or with family jobs will
always be a source of certain stress
It's finding our own enjoyment
healthy balanced ways to mange and cope
perhaps an occasional drink or smoke
exercise and eating right while still
having your cake and eating it too
laughter shared with friends/family
outdoors or in a cozy room
in private sit in silence listening to the storm
in public laugh at humorous scenes whether
mundane out of the ordinary embarrassing or obscene
a kiss a caress a touch a smile
guiding advice conversation a comment or comforting stare
anything to let fellow loved ones know you are there
herbal remedies or prescription medication a brisk walk
relaxation techniques or transcendental meditation
whatever keeps the mind
from falling back into everyday stress induced depression
read a book magazine an article bird call people watch
follow signs chase visions donate money donate time
walk the dog pet the cat play with the kids
pray take out the boat take a trip go for a ride
listen to music pick up an instrument
appreciate nature appreciate art
take out the bike go for a hike
sing dance spin kick flip
play sport stretch or jump for joy
do karate be brave sing karaoke
be fearless in front of the mic
pick up the pen and write

Anything at all that brings enjoyment to life
Living compassionate minded
