The Laughter Therapy
(I)
Every morning the ritual is the same, -
I say my prayers and take His name;
As I settle down to read the papers, –
About our politician’s famous ‘blame game’!
It is then I always hear, loud peals of laughter
from our adjacent park,
A man dedicated to laughter therapy,
With his loud guffaw and reverberating bark!
Trying to resolve this laughing mystery, -
I read several articles about Laughter Therapy!
(II)
Amongst all created things and living beings,
Man alone suffers deeply in his body, mind,
and soul;
With peals of laughter he must suppress his tears,
To balance this life and control!
Yet during those rare and supreme happy moments
of life, -
Tears are seen to well-up in our eyes!
Laughter gets mingled with our tears, -
I wonder why? !
Perhaps laughter and tears are two sides,
Of the same coin of our worldly life!
While our lacrymal glands perform this feat, -
As laughter and tears join hands to make this
life complete!

While hearty, non-ridiculing and connecting
laughter does provide,
Physiological, psychological and spiritual
benefits - on hindsight!
Laughter brings a twinkle in our eyes, destroying
our conservative reputation;
Improving our cardiovascular flexibility, increasing

Laughter like internal jogging, gives us an internal
massaging;
Performed both silently and rapidly beyond imagining!
Revitalizing those unexplored internal crannies –

Spring!
And her hidden bugles up the street.
Spring -- and the sweet
Laughter of winds at the crossing;
Laughter of birds and a fountain tossing
Its hair in abandoned ecstasies.
Laughter of trees.
Laughter of shop-girls that giggle and blush;
Laugh of the tug-boat's impertinent fife.
Laughter followed by a trembling hush --
Laughter of love, scarce whispered aloud.
Then, stilled by no sacredness or strife,
Laughter that leaps from the crowd;
Seizing the world in a rush.
Laughter of life...
Earth takes deep breaths like a man who had feared he might smother,
Filling his lungs before bursting into a shout....

Over the wash-lines women call to each other.
And, under the calling, there surges, too clearly to doubt,
Spring, with the noises
Of shrill, little voices;
Joining in 'Tag' and the furious chase

And there, down the avenue, behold,
The first true herald of the Spring --
The hand-organ gasping and wheezily murmuring

And over and under it,
During and after --

blood's flood rush-blushing flush, then hibernate,
lush, hid ‘mid hieroglyphics of soft smile.
It dawned that very few can reconcile
emotions' brakes while breaking conscious state,
to draw more definitions for “beguile”.
Most, blind behind closed minds, can’t conjugate
dimensions manifold, unfold, translate,
decypher hieroglyphics of soft smile.
It takes so many lifetimes to compile
right signals light, bright eyes communicate
decoding definitions for “beguile”
into word worlds both varied, versatile,
deep, difficult to truly contemplate -
expanding hieroglyphics of soft smile.
Content observing content, context, style,
expressive inner eyes deliberate,
a worthwhile definition for “beguile”,
hidden in hieroglyphics of soft smile.
There are two definitions for “beguile”
one shares, one snares love, fair disguising hate -
what’s truth mid hieroglyphics of Your smile?
What if snare scare replaced rare care to dial

Laughter
Laughter is a unique quality endowed to mankind;
It is completely denied to the animal mind.
When humour is dwelt upon and reared,
There emanates laughter and is shared.
Roaring laughter is contagious,
And humour is surely infectious.
Laughter escalates hilarity and happiness,
And humour diminishes weariness.
One can laugh at a joke, ridiculous,
And can scoff at another one, meticulous.
One needs to be like a child, so jolly,
Egoless and innocent to laugh so merrily.
Laughter requires a bit of intelligence,
As well as presence of mind and good sense.
Benefits of laughter are numerous,
It bestows a wealth of health on us.
Laughter boosts the immunity system,
And lowers the stress hormone item.
With laughter the whole body is relaxed,
And gnawing pain for a time is axed.
Laughter prevents even the heart disease,
And a sorrowful mood is made to ease.
With a chuckle feel-good endorphins are released,
And with a peal of laughter one is pleased.
Laughter adds joy and zest to life,
And eases anxiety, fear and strife.
Laughter helps conflicts to diffuse,
And mirth in one it does suffuse.
Laughter is a resource for problem surmounting,

Sometimes I laugh out loud
Showing you that I could care less what you have to say
All that matters is that my feelings are hidden
Hiding from those who judge me and those who love me
And Laughter helps me do just that
Laughter is my better half
Laughter stands with me when I’m bored
Laughter comforts me when I want to cry
He keeps me company through grief and through happiness

The Sound Of Laughter
The sound of laughter is a thing of beauty for laughter spreads the very gift of joy
That people they are drawn to happy people is not that hard for to understand why
Since everybody wishes to be happy and laughter it spreads happiness around
And only the heartless could not like the sound of laughter for laughter is a very happy sound,
Than laughter there is no more happy feeling laugh and the World laughs with you seems so true
But if you feel sad and for yourself feeling sorry the saddest person in the World is you
Even your friends would rather not be with you if they see you as one who worship gloom
The happy people attract people to them and in their presence happiness does bloom,
The sound of laughter sends out laughter ripples it is a sound one always loves to hear
And laughter it gives rise to smiling faces and never fails to fill the cup of cheer
The sad one who feels comfort in self pity is the one others do not wish to know
But if you are one who laughs away your worries your friends in numbers seem to grow and grow
And who could not but love the sound of laughter to it there always is a joyful ring

We use to have it,
Long long time ago.
We use to reach for it.
But now it’s no more.
It was our pride,
Having laughter in the rain,
With nothing to hide,
We made it plain.
How stunning it was laughing in the rain.
Laugh like a drain,
Like a baby with no stain.
Yes!
I felt like a child
Felt it like a lady that is not wild.
Having laughter in the rain with you,
Hand in hand walking on the street with you.
In all times you hold me tight.
To make me feel alright.

The Laughter
As a lightning amidst the clouds,
that lightens even the darkest night,
does the laughter sounding so loud,
to the surroundings so very bright.
The sonance of the laughter is,
something that can never surfeit.
give me more of laughter, oh god,
that makes me and place very sweet.
Oh mighty, too high in honor,
has given a tressure unconspicious.
I shall call that sense of humor,
and use it liberally though precious.
As does the water in many a field,
does the laughter a drug to all disease.
To numb the pain out, like a shield
and makes so fresh as an evening breeze.
Like a dropp to quench for the thirsty throat,
and a cool gentle breeze in the sun so hot
does laughter the magic in the sadness caught
mind and soul and heart in deepest thought.
The light of a candle shall not blow out,
by however intense be the darkness poured.
The laughter will heal, where it breaks out,
even the sadest heart that is deeply gored.
Adding fragrance to the petals of a flower
is to make a happy person laugh. But the true power
of laughter is to bring to the face a grin
of the one that feels sad and lower.
Laughter is one that gives a shoulder to hug
while a lot others turn their back and shrug
to the heart down, heavy, blue and tight
like the warmth of a log fire in a freezing night.
Want to find ways to god? laugh without any block
