Gone Are My Nuts

Gone are my nuts.
The ones I mixed up,
With raisins, dried pineapple bits...
And cranberries.

The roasted cashews are over priced.
I replaced them with Brazil,
The shells were so thick...
I got tired of cracking them into bits.

I tried to go without.
As I walked about with nothing to munch.
I prefer a quick snack,
Over a fast food lunch.

Apples and bananas also satisfy.
Or strips of carrots and celery...
To make the long hours of the day fly by.

I once did a vanilla icecream drink.
With Strawberries, bananas and orange juice.
That was good too!
Although the cashews provided the missing link.
Yes...
Gone are my nuts.
The ones I mixed up,
With raisins, dried pineapple bits...
And cranberries.

I don't know what it is...
But that seems to be the 'fix' for me.
As I age and become more aware,
How wonderful I feel...
Being as healthy as I can be!
Even if I have to do without cashews,

gateway, and her brothers- comely as the gods- gathered round her,
took the mules out of the waggon, and carried the clothes into the
house, while she went to her own room, where an old servant,
Eurymedusa of Apeira, lit the fire for her. This old woman had been
brought by sea from Apeira, and had been chosen as a prize for
Alcinous because he was king over the Phaecians, and the people obeyed
him as though he were a god. She had been nurse to Nausicaa, and had
now lit the fire for her, and brought her supper for her into her
own room.
Presently Ulysses got up to go towards the town; and Minerva shed
a thick mist all round him to hide him in case any of the proud
Phaecians who met him should be rude to him, or ask him who he was.
Then, as he was just entering the town, she came towards him in the
likeness of a little girl carrying a pitcher. She stood right in front
of him, and Ulysses said:
"My dear, will you be so kind as to show me the house of king
Alcinous? I am an unfortunate foreigner in distress, and do not know

Part I.A Short Walk Along the Coast

Yes, I have walked in California,
And the rivers there are blue and white.
Thunderclouds of grapes hang on the mountains.
Bears in the meadows pitch and fight.

Yet many a fleece of snow and stormy shower
Doth darken Sol's bright eye, makes us remember
The pinching North-west wind of cold December.
My second moneth is April, green and fair,
Of longer dayes, and a more temperate Air:
The Sun in Taurus keeps his residence,
And with his warmer beams glanceth from thence
This is the month whose fruitful showrs produces
All set and sown for all delights and uses:

Hurry Up Please It's Time

What is death, I ask.
What is life, you ask.
I give them both my buttocks,
my two wheels rolling off toward Nirvana.
They are neat as a wallet,
opening and closing on their coins,
the quarters, the nickels,
straight into the crapper.

and moon the executioner
as well as paste raisins on my breasts?

Seduced

Cheerios with bursting cinnamon dust,
Over sliced banana in a bowl of soy milk,
Breakfast is served.

Succulent sautéed shrimp over angel hair,
With melting mozzarella in a white plate,
Lunch is served.

Romaine spinach dressed with vinegarette,
Cherry tomatoes, raisins, pineapple cubes,
Dinner is served.

Then she sensed creamy caramel macchiato,
That’s calling for her not too far from home,
Starbucks is there.

Amaretto Cheesecake with Madeliene Crust,
Staring at her in an eyeful blast of seduction,
She checked in.
