Twelve Steps
Does anyone
Have a twelve step plan
For me to get over my lover?
Forget her?
But I can't.
Get angry with her?
But I'd rather recant.
Get angry with myself?
But I'd rather not rant.
Find another lover?
But lovers are scant.
Become a yogi?
But I'd rather eat fire ants.
Realize I am better off without her?
But I ain't.
Make myself better?
But I don't.
Make myself more mature?
But I am already out to pasture.
Focus on helping others?
But others don't listen to my chants.
Start exercising like crazy?
But I am too lazy.
Start praying about my sins?
But I am an atheist.
Ask others for help?
That to you I will grant.
