Abuse
I see you and I suddenly remember
Your not the same girl
No longer a contender
With plenty fish in the sea
I see
What they were talking about when they spoke your name
I didn't believe at first then came the change
And as I witnessed the beauty become the beast
I thought to myself
'I've been tricked and betrayed'
This beast needs to be slain
Before she takes hold of another
A fellow brother
A hopeless romantic
To make his life tragic
And I know only I have the power
So I lift my sword
But exchange it for a pen and
Begin
To let the ink rain
Writing faster than I can think
Spitting faster than she can blink
My words destroy her
But it's for the best
And now she lay distressed and mind boggled
And I continue on my way
Tomorrow's another day to save.
I fell in love again
I fell in a another hole
Just rented out my soul
But I could've sworn this chick
Was different
She spoke so softly when we argued
And her body, ..
My eyes were glued
But as I soon figured out
She didn't need to scream and shout
To damage me internally
So once again
I knew what I had to do
But this time my anger grew
My words didn't effect her
But I knew my knuckles would
So I used them with the most control I could
I continued on my way
Leaving her as she lay
Tomorrow will be another day to save
I had once known this woman
Beautiful as sin
Together we were a couple
Lasted awhile without the trouble
A relationship that made god and satan jealous
Over zealous
They plotted against me
No man should have that kinda love they said
There words spun in my head
And I used my experience from past relationships
As tips
To keep her around,
Verbally and physically
I made her feel low
Each word followed by a blow
Her spirit crushed and eyes black
I knew now god and the devil wouldn't attack
She was all mine
Until that one day
She was on the phone and her sister on the other line
She was guna leave the next day
I couldn't believe what I was hearing her say
After all I did to protect her
The supernatural would get her for sure
I had to save this woman
And I did.
But the jury didnt see it the same way
Got locked up and all I see is walls of gray.
