Joint 2 Joint

If u wanna we can kick it, baby, joint 2 joint
Chorus:
(sex me) - uh, yeah (safe), joint 2 joint
(sex me) - uh, yeah (safe), kick it, baby, joint 2 joint
(sex me) - uh, yeah (safe), joint 2 joint
(sex me) - uh, yeah
Before I melt the wax 2 quizzical
Let me just say that u are physically
The most toned one Ive ever seen
Ure making me proud 2 be a human be-i-ng (uh huh!)
And if were ever naked in the same machine
Im gonna lick it, baby, joint 2 joint
Chorus
So first I need a picture of your mother
2 verify the fact that theres not another
One in the universe so supreme
Damn, u got the rock 2 give a brotha cream (cream)
And if were ever naked in the same machine
Im gonna lick it, baby, joint 2 joint
(sex me) - uh, yeah (safe), joint 2 joint
(sex, sex, sex me) - if u wanna we can kick it, baby, joint 2 joint
(sex me) - oh yeah, I got some hot sauce, joint 2 joint (ha ha ha)
(sex me) - said kick it baby, joint 2 joint (right on, ha ha ha)
(sex me) - yeah (safe)
Come upstairs 2 my room
Joint 2 joint (I never sucked...) {x2}
I never sucked sour splints from a chew stick
Dont lick bics cuz fire sticks 2 flame (flame)
Get wicks 2 catch brothers who choose 2 let burns remain
Now I see all dicks, toms and harrys are not the same
Some dipped in my lower lip, sipped a supple poison (poison {x3})
Joint 2 joint (I never sucked...) {x4}
(come with me, 4 those who wanna change)
(but nothing comes 4 free)
Joint 2 joint, nothing comes 4 free
If u show your love, u can get with me
U can get with me, u can get with me
Joint 2 joint
Up the stairs 2 my lovely room
Stroke your face and ure under soon
Sittin in the corner in your underwear
Lettin me caress your nappy hair
Joint 2 joint, nothing comes 4 free
If u show your love, u can get with me
And if u light my candle, we can share the stone
Flames of desire, sweet gypsy moans
Sweet gypsy moans
Joint 2 joint {x3}
Joint 2 joint, nothing comes 4 free
Oh great, now u think ure my soulmate

The Liar

Back from the crowd stood i
As you moved up to the stage
Catching the singers eye
Looking older than your age
Then I couldnt help thinking and remember when
You hated rock and roll
Im the loser
Youre the liar, liar
Rock and roller
Youre the liar, liar
Star struck strummer
Youre the liar, liar, ohhhh
Taking my heart each day
When you say you do no harm
How can I feel that way
With those strange men on your arm
Cause I do remember when your head was clear
And you didnt read those looks
Im the loser
Youre the liar, liar
Rock and roller
Youre the liar, liar
Star struck strummer
Youre the liar, liar, ohhhh
And I couldnt help seeing when your friends arrived
They werent sniffing from a cold
Im the loser
Liar, liar, liar, liar
Liar, liar, liar, liar
Liar, liar, liar, liar
Liar, liar, liar, liar
And I recall that overhearing someone say
Youre a working girl as well
Im the loser again
Youre the liar, liar
Rock and roller
Youre the liar, liar
Star struck strummer
Youre the liar, liar, ohhhh
Youre the liar, liar, liar
Youre the liar, liar, liar
Youre the liar, liar, liar
Youre the liar

Liar

As a dancer she's undercover
Won the Big Don to be her lover
Had to make him tell her his secrets
About his buiseness and about his street-rats
She had to become his trustful right hand
The bureau needed the files with his brand
She really was a damn good actress
Everybody called her 'Big Don's Mistress'
Oh, it's just a show
Put on for love
How could he know
Liar, liar
Sweet desire
Liar, liar
Who are you
Liar, liar
Play with fire
Liar, liar
Learn the truth
She sent the messages to her office
The Don reckoned he will face a judas
So he told her of a damned deceiver
Secured, in her he was a strong believer
He confessed to her being sick of all this
How he suffered in the deepest abyss
But saw in her the wish for a new life
To escape from there and wake her his wife
No, not just a show
Put on for love
How could he know
Liar, liar
Sweet desire
Liar, liar
Who are you
Liar, liar
Play with fire
Liar, liar
Learn the truth
It had turned somehow
She had not seen how
Felt the bullet still flying
Straight into her heart
Tore her old world apart
Now to live on she first had to die
There's a reason to live
Now to live on she first had to die
There's a reason to give
There's a reason to give in a lie
Liar, liar
Sweet desire

Hollywood Liar

Liar, liar, liar, hollywood liar,
Who are you, to crash my party, with your mediocre blues,
Your powder has no power over me,
Dont talk to my friends, the way you talk to the girls from the valley,
Youre just another liar to me,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
I can see right through your act, the way you lie to yourself,
About deals you know dont even exist,
Dropping all those names the way you think the game should be played,
Youre just another liar to me,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
(say) too mon to mon toul le jomey le very tey,
Too par too par, cullear, reason,
Unfortunately youre my neighbour,
But certainly not for long,
Huh, Im the writer of this,
Im the printer of that,
What you gonna do next?
How you gonna top that?
Distributor of this,
Editor of that,
What you gonna do next?
How you gonna top that?
How you gonna top that?
How you gonna top that?
(? )
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood,
Hollywood,
Hollywood,
Hollywood liar,
Kiss me?
(? )
Hollywood liar,
Hollywood liar,
I dont buy it baby!
You just get out of my party!

Shes A Liar

Written by gerry beckley, 1976
Found on hideaway.
Caroline is falling in and out of love
Tryn to get those things that shes been thinkin of
She cant be what she wants to be
Though she never really tries
Shes a liar
Shes a liar
But I might try her tonight
And if things go right
Caroline is calling everyone in town
First she calls them friends and then she puts them down
She cant be what she wants to be
Though she never really tries
Shes a liar
Shes a liar
But I might try her tonight
And if things go right
She cant be what she wants to be
Though she never really tries
Shes a liar
Shes a liar
But I might try her tonight
And if things go right
Wo, shes a liar (shes a liar)
Shes a liar (shes a liar)
Shes a liar (shes a liar)
Shes a liar (shes a liar)
Shes a liar (shes a liar)

Liar

Say it if you want to and say it if you will
But if you dont say what you are thinkin
No, I wont take too kindly to it.
And all I want is something special,
And you cant give it to me,
And all you do is lie to me,
cause youre a liar, liar, liar.
I will run, I will fight,
I will take you through the night lie, lie, liar,
I will run, I will fight,
I will take you through the night lie, lie, liar...
Say it if you want to,
And say it if you choose
But if you dont say what you are thinkin
No I wont take too kindly to it
When all I want is something different
And you couldt give it to me
And all you do is lie to me
So youre a liar, liar, liar.
I will run, I will fight,
I will take you through the night lie, lie, liar,
I will run, I will fight,
I will take you through the night lie, lie, liar...
Ill fight you, Ill fight you
Im fighing you
Liar, liar, liar
You know youre a liar,
Liar...

You are the poet

Poet is a journalist
Watches the feelings
Watches the emotions
Watches the world
Watches the light and
Watches the dark
He thinks everywhere
Others can’t imagine

-o-

Chasing the thoughts
Searching the words
Forming the sentences
To give the expression
To put the life in it

-o-

Poet is like a cook
Collecting good ingredients
Cooking the feelings to
Present in better way

-o-

Poet is like a soldier
Fighting in the war and
Fighting with the self
Feeling the pain and
Bleeding the emotions
Making room for self
To express the story
To save the people

-o-

Poet is like mother
Cooking the soft food
Feeding smoothly
Treating the readers like his own kids
Reader’s happiness is poet’s happiness
If you can’t praise, no problem
But don’t forget to acknowledge
-o-

Poet is the center of universe
Editors, Music directors,
Composers, singers, musicians,

Crosseyed & Painless

Lost my shape-trying to act casual!
Cant stop-i might end up in the hospital
Im changing my shape-i feel like an accident
Theyre back!-to explain their experience
Isnt it weird/looks too obscure to me
Wasting away/and that was their policy
Im ready to leave-i push the fact in front of me
Facts lost-facts are never what they seem to be
Nothing there!-no information left of any kind
Lifting my head-looking for danger signs
There was a line/there was a formula
Sharp as a knife/facts cut a hole in us
There was a line/there was a forula
Sharp as a knife/facts cut a hole in us
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
The feeling returns/whenever we close out eyes
Lifting my head/looking around inside
The island of doubt-its like the taste of medicine
Working by hindsight-got the message from the oxygen
Making a list-find the cost of opportunity
Doing it right-facts are useless in emergencies
The feeling returns/whenever we close out eyes
Lifting my head/looking around inside.
Facts are simple and facts are straight
Facts are lazy and facts are late
Facts all come with points of view
Facts dont do what I want them to
Facts just twist the truth around
Facts are living turned inside out
Facts are getting the best of them
Facts are nothing on the face of things
Facts dont stain the furniture
Facts go out and slam the door
Facts are written all over your face
Facts continue to change their shape
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...Im still waiting...
Im still waiting...Im still waiting...

Liar

For all the pain that calls my name
I burn your picture in the same way
That you burned the things you see in me
And all the pills wash it away
They tell me how and what to say
I need that numbness here in me, to be
Im feeling sick and living on everything
Thats dead in me
You bring it out of me
Hate is what I need
Your life is built on this
And bitch youll never strip me from this
From the pain I arise, from the pain I arise
Nothing more, liar, liar, liar, liar!
You say things would be the same
Yo se things would be the same
Liar!
All the hate is now arising!
For all the feelings that are right
Theres still a fear that we must fight
And I would kill for you to feed from me
Im feeling sick and living and breathing only nothing
That is real, your hate is what I feel
You think youre made of steel
Your life is built on this
And bitch youll never strip me from this
From the pain I arise, from the pain I arise
Nothing more, liar, liar, liar, liar!
You say things would be the same
Yo se things would be the same
Bring you, bring you down
Liar, liar, liar, liar!
You said things would be the same

Warehouse

See Im leaving
This warehouse frightens me
Has me tied up in knots
Cant rest for a moment
Soom Im going Im slippin slow away
Hoping to find something better than
Ive got inside of here
The warehouse slips away
Hey reckless mind
Dont throw away your playful beginning
You and I will fumble around in the touches
And be sure to
Leave all the lights on
So we can see the black cat changing colors
And we can walk under the ladders
And swim as the tide turns you around and around
Hey we have found
Becoming one in a million
Slip into the crowd
This question if found in a gap in the sidewalk
Keep al lyour sights on
He the black cat changing colors
And you can walk under ladders
And swim as the tide choose to turn you
And here is it
Life goes on, end of tunnel, tv set
Spot in the middle
State fade, statistical bit
And soon Ill fade away, Ill fade away
This I admit
Taste so good, hard to believe an end to it
Smell touch feel
How could this rhythm ever quit
Bags packed on a plane
Hopefully to heaven
Shut up Im thinking
I had a clue now its gone forever
Sitting over these bones
You can read in whatever youre needing to
Keep all your sights on
Yeah man, the black cat
Changing colors
When its not the colors that matter
But that theyll all fade away
This I admit
Seems so good
Hard to believe an end to it
Warehouse is bare
Nothing at all inside of it
Walls and halls have disappeared

A Teaching Of The Facts Can Relax

Vulnerability when needed,
Can attract true love.
With a getting of some pity too.

A vulnerability when needed,
Can attract true love.
With a bit of innocence,
That can put one in the mood.

And when,
Facts of life are slow...
A teaching of the facts can relax.
A teaching of the facts,
Can get one to relax.

And when,
A nervousness sets in...
A teaching of the facts can relax,
In those moments.
A teaching of the facts can relax.

And when,
Eyes begin to cry...
A teaching of the facts can relax,
In those moments.
A teaching of the facts can relax.
A teaching of the facts can relax.

Vulnerability when needed,
Can attract true love.
With a teaching of the facts to relax,
In those moments.
A teaching of the facts can relax.

A vulnerability when needed,

With a bit of innocence,

There Is Something Really Wrong About That

There's something really wrong about that!
Those facts you ration.
There is something really wrong about that!
They're not based in truth of action.
Something really wrong about that!
Those facts you ration.
Absent is the truth of action.
Nothing is said about that.

There is something really wrong about that!
Those facts you ration.
There's something really wrong about that!
They're not based in truth of action.
Something really wrong about that!
Those facts you ration.
Absent is the truth of action.
Nothing is said about that.

Truth has been manipulated.
Something is wrong about that!

And people now themselves they hate.
Something is wrong about that!

Racism is the indicator.
Something is wrong about that!

And how one lives is too debated.
Something is wrong about that!

There is something really wrong about that!
Those facts you ration.
There's something really wrong about that!
They're not based in truth of action.
Something really wrong about that!
Those facts you ration.
Absent is the truth of action.
Nothing is said about that.

We've all been underestimated.
Something is wrong about that!
The thoughts of people are degraded.
Something is wrong about that!
Deceivers seem too much elated.
Something is wrong about that!
And truth for us has been created...
With an ease that's made..

Oh there's something really wrong about that!
Those facts you ration.

Tale V

THE PATRON.

A Borough-Bailiff, who to law was train'd,
A wife and sons in decent state maintain'd,
He had his way in life's rough ocean steer'd
And many a rock and coast of danger clear'd;
He saw where others fail'd, and care had he,
Others in him should not such feelings see:
His sons in various busy states were placed,
And all began the sweets of gain to taste,
Save John, the younger, who, of sprightly parts,
Felt not a love for money-making arts:
In childhood feeble, he, for country air,
Had long resided with a rustic pair;
All round whose room were doleful ballads, songs,
Of lovers' sufferings and of ladies' wrongs;
Of peevish ghosts who came at dark midnight,
For breach of promise, guilty men to fright;
Love, marriage, murder, were the themes, with

these,
All that on idle, ardent spirits seize;
Robbers at land and pirates on the main,
Enchanters foil'd, spells broken, giants slain;
Legends of love, with tales of halls and bowers,
Choice of rare songs, and garlands of choice

flowers,
And all the hungry mind without a choice devours.
From village-children kept apart by pride,
With such enjoyments, and without a guide,
Inspired by feelings all such works infused,
John snatch'd a pen, and wrote as he perused:
With the like fancy he could make his knight
Slay half a host, and put the rest to flight;
With the like knowledge he could make him ride
From isle to isle at Parthenissa's side;
And with a heart yet free, no busy brain
Form'd wilder notions of delight and pain,
The raptures smiles create, the anguish of disdain.
Such were the fruits of John's poetic toil -
Weeds, but still proofs of vigour in the soil:
He nothing purposed but with vast delight,
Let Fancy loose, and wonder'd at her flight:
His notions of poetic worth were high,
And of his own still-hoarded poetry; -
These to his father's house he bore with pride,
A miser's treasure, in his room to hide;
Till spurr'd by glory, to a reading friend,
He kindly show'd the sonnets he had penn'd:

Hes A Liar

I was stood by the light as I looked through the window
With the greatest intention not meaning to see
I was there in the dark and I saw you together
You were up in his arms , I was down on my knees
Get the cards on the table
No need to pretend
Youve got to be cruel to be kind
He can sell you his love and you know yo will pay cause
Chorus 1
Hes a liar
Hes a liar and I should know liar
Hes a liar and I should know - ahhh
Well, they told me I fell but I just dont remember
I was standing face down, they were there at my feet
There was smoke in the air and sweet smell of leather
I was through the window and down in the street
Well, Im cold and Im hungry but Im still alive
And its not how I want it to be
Theres a hand on my shoulder
He said Ill survive ,but-
Chorus 2
Hes a liar
Hes a liar, and I should know liar
Hes a liar,and I should know-ahhh
Release
Was it not for the man that was blocking the drive
Was it not for the red limousine
Id be millions of miles from th scene of the crime
And somehow in this madness believe she was mine -but
Chorus 3
Im a liar
Hes a liar
And I should know liar
Hes a liar
And I should know-ahhh
Hes a (repeat and fade)

Back To The Facts

From minds the chains are gone.
From minds the chains are gone.
From minds the chains are gone.
From minds the chains are gone.
And it's...
Back to the facts.
Back to unpack those facts,
Packed.
Back to the facts!
To dust them off and stack them tall.
Back to the facts...
To unwrap and stack.

Medieval evils,
No longer can be forced on people.
Walls are falling.
And used as steps for those who crawl.
To see life without limits,
With a higher consciousness.

And it's...
Back to the facts.
Back to unpack those facts,
Packed.
Back to the facts!
To dust them off and stack them tall.
Back to the facts...
To unwrap and stack.

Medieval evils,
From minds the chains are gone...
To keep the people,
From a...
Bouncing off the walls.

Medieval evils,
From minds the chains are gone...
To keep the people,
From a...
Bouncing off the walls.

Sad-eyed Lady Of The Lowlands

With your mercury mouth in the missionary times,
And your eyes like smoke and your prayers like rhymes,
And your silver cross, and your voice like chimes,
Oh, who among them do they think could bury you?
With your pockets well protected at last,
And your streetcar visions which you place on the grass,
And your flesh like silk, and your face like glass,
Who among them do they think could carry you?
Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands,
Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes,
My warehouse eyes, my arabian drums,
Should I leave them by your gate,
Or, sad-eyed lady, should I wait?
With your sheets like metal and your belt like lace,
And your deck of cards missing the jack and the ace,
And your basement clothes and your hollow face,
Who among them can think he could outguess you?
With your silhouette when the sunlight dims
Into your eyes where the moonlight swims,
And your match-book songs and your gypsy hymns,
Who among them would try to impress you?
Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands,
Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes,
My warehouse eyes, my arabian drums,
Should I leave them by your gate,
Or, sad-eyed lady, should I wait?
The kings of tyrus with their convict list
Are waiting in line for their geranium kiss,
And you wouldnt know it would happen like this,
But who among them really wants just to kiss you?
With your childhood flames on your midnight rug,
And your spanish manners and your mothers drugs,
And your cowboy mouth and your curfew plugs,
Who among them do you think could resist you?
Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands,
Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes,
My warehouse eyes, my arabian drums,
Should I leave them by your gate,
Or, sad-eyed lady, should I wait?
Oh, the farmers and the businessmen, they all did decide
To show you the dead angels that they used to hide.
But why did they pick you to sympathize with their side?
Oh, how could they ever mistake you?
They wished youd accepted the blame for the farm,
But with the sea at your feet and the phony false alarm,
And with the child of a hoodlum wrapped up in your arms,
How could they ever, ever persuade you?
Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands,
Where the sad-eyed prophet says that no man comes,

Before a Poetry Reading

'Poet! Poet! Poet! Poet! '
I'm feeling nervous but I mustn't show it!

'Poet! Poet! Poet! Poet! '
I hope to heaven that I won't blow it!

'Poet! Poet! Poet! Poet! '
I mustn't reveal that I'm a second-rate poet!
I'm only a rhymer, but they don't know it!
If you've got no talent you'll have to grow it!

Zig Zag Stories

I had a zig zag story just the other day
I rolled a fat blunt and yo, it ripped this way
I took a puff (uh-huh) and what did i see?
Those motherf__kers still wanna i-c-e
To blaze up a sac of that green bombay
And when i reach my peak, i explode like dante
Tha ganjay has got my mind wide open, i'm soakin'
In the music, i use it, and don't abuse it
And true, it gets me high like the sky
I will buy 'till the day that i die
You ain't gotta ask me why
I take tokes from the smoke, i can't deny
Got a lifetime supply
And i wanna get you high
Get you high all night
'cause i wanna get you high
Get you high all night
And i wanna get you high
Bang another joint
Zig zag stories
Bang another joint
Zig zag stories
This is a zig zag story that i had last night
A six-pack, a joint, and i was feeling all right
Lit up tha chronic, and what did i see?
This bad-a__ bit_h creeping up on me
She had the look that could get the ice cooked up in a second
I pictured her undressing and gettin' butt-naked
She walked up to me and said her name was mary jane
Ain't no shame in my game, down to do anything
Took me by the hand, ask me if i'd like to fly
You know i like to fly
'cause i wanna get you high
Get you high all night
'cause i wanna get you high
Get you high all night
And i wanna get you high
Bang another joint
Zig zag stories
Bang another joint
Zig zag stories
(right here, you know we're gettin' 'em high right now)
Now here's a zig zag story that i'm havin' right now
Gotta get myself together 'cause some sh_t is goin' down
Hit you people off with my new cd
Hard to swallow, like saying "f__k the industry!"
I'm stompin' through the bayou with my black boots laced
And takin' out you motherf__kers acting two-faced
For the people out there gonna blaze 'till i die
Blaze up the thai

Fifth Book

AURORA LEIGH, be humble. Shall I hope
To speak my poems in mysterious tune
With man and nature,–with the lava-lymph
That trickles from successive galaxies
Still drop by drop adown the finger of God,
In still new worlds?–with summer-days in this,
That scarce dare breathe, they are so beautiful?–
With spring's delicious trouble in the ground
Tormented by the quickened blood of roots.
And softly pricked by golden crocus-sheaves
