I miss you still, though time has passed,
But in a way we are in touch,
You rule my soul, as in the past,
When it was loving you so much.
If now you told me just a word
I would be thrilled your voice to hear,
And all the statues in the world
I'd break for loving you, my dear.
And yet in silence I remain...
I tell my heart I miss you so;
But even though I'm torn by pain,
How much I love you, you don't know.
