The Hope is Regained

The suffering covers us like black gloves,
Love and faith are tied to a concrete pole
with chains of fear and despair.
The storm is too strong. The night is too long.
The boat is drifting. The sun is hiding.
The winds loudly howl. The wolves, in the forest, growl.
There is no future, no proper scope, there is no hope.

But He took off our gloves. He shared our suffering.
He broke all the chains.
He freed the love. He freed the faith. No more fear!
The storm is gone. The day has come.
The sun is shining. The boat is peacefully sailing.
The winds are singing. The forest is dancing.
We have a future, a final aim. The hope is regained.
