Delusion

The silver sky, was
Slowly turning blue
And the birds with merry,
Up there, carelessly flew
I could feel around
A heaven up above
The breeze silently sighed
You are falling in love.
The river swam, like
Into her sweet sixteen
Kissing the trees around
Dying them luscious green
The flower beds smiled
And buds began to blossom
The creation, in a wink
Painted colour of autumn
Soon on my shoulders, perched
A dove, whispering softly
You are falling in love.
Cheerful I was, walking
In ecstasy, on the damp soil
Until a tiny little pebble
Pierced my skin, and
Hurt my ankle
Soon the scene turned pale
I was lost and shattered
My agony, I couldn’t curtail
Back in my sanity, I searched
Around for that illusion
Sadly, things were inert
Frightened I was, tearful too
For love, I would never,
Want to believe can be true
Rivers turn into wild seas
The breeze would storm,
Skies will hurl fires in woe
Doves will take evil form.
