You're Real
You're flesh and blood
and taste and smell
and skin and soft
and body familiar
You're forty three years
of history and hurting
and lusting and laughter
and passion and pain
You're breakfast and dinner
and shopping and habit
and taken for grantedness
and here and now
You're the love of my life
- I forgot for a moment -
I adore and desire you
you're real.
