After all these lonely years
Why do I still love you so much
Why do I still miss your smile
And still crave your touch
I hear your sweet voice
In my dreams each night
And I constantly wonder
How can I make this right
Still lost in the sweet dreams
I wake and reach for you
But your love is just a memory
A dream I wish would come true
Why do I still feel the loss
Down so deep in my soul
When will I understand it all
So my heart can be whole
You were not my first love
But I promise you will be my last
I will mourn your loss forever
