Winter Blossom

When the night stretches on
And the stars grow old
We find our courage fall
Like the winter blossom
From the tallest spire
Through fire and liars
To fall upon our reckless hearts

Now the Winter blossom tells a lie
Though eternally gracious to the eye
Its loveless life brings the shadow of a tear to my listless eyes
Don't be fooled
The price of life is more than a petal reaching out
More than the sent of that blossom on the wind
But never overlook the timeless beauty that can claim you
It is never too late to change the here to change the now
But the classics are forever set in the vaults of history
Forever cursed to never know what we know, what do we know?

To trim a blossom from whence it came
Never forget or else regret
That you take from it its undying flame
That those who matter will talk with pride
Upon matters that you dare not hide
The deathless dance shall forever end
Only if the world sleeps my friend
Now as the Winter Blossom falls below all those who have gone before
Only here and only then
Will the time come for the Winter Blessing to end?
