I remember your arms around me
I remember your sweet scent
I remember the way you held me
and I remember how much you meant
why do I have to remember
all the good things about you
it hurts my heart to know
that you were never true
it feels like cupid just stabbed my heart
ripped it out
and tore it apart
because that's what happens
when your love fails
and your life begins to take
the wrong trails
it all seems over
it seems all done
but it never will be
