Where women walk with “sass” and “stride”,
Where women walk with “sass” and “stride”,
And men measure their worth in battle,
There burns a superficial pride.
Hearts are tainted with the lie
Of materialism. All are cattle,
Where women walk with “sass” and “stride”.
There burns a superficial pride,
As the snake shakes his tempting rattle,
Whispering, “Come to me, and be satisfied”.
“Are you frightened? Fear is our ally…”.
Where we obey his foolish prattle,
There burns a superficial pride.
We are empty, yet deny,
That our opinion even matters.
Where women walk with “sass” and “stride”,
There burns a superficial pride.
