When Poetry was beautiful
Everything was beautiful
Too beautiful to desire
When Poetry educated
Everything was amazing
Too amazing to know
When Poetry was visionary
Everything was believable
Nothing was impossible
When Poetry was political
Everything mattered
Especially knowing why
When poetry died
Humanity plummeted
Into the abyss of technology
