Whatever The Weather

I cannot understand this weather,
Or know just what to wear,
The weather man said it'll rain today,
But outside it looks quite fair.

Up above the sky looks blue,
So I presume it should be warm,
But by the time I've gotten down the stairs,
The clouds are brewing up a storm!

On one side of our great, big house,
The clouds look small and white,
But on the other, quite the opposite,
Grey and dreary is the sight.

So do I trust the weather-man,
Who often gets it wrong,
Or should I dress in layers instead,
Must my sleeves be short or long?

Will I need my winter vest on,
Do I need to take my coat,
Should I carry my umbrella,
Please tell me, what's the vote?

The other day was quite blustery,
And I needed my dear brolly,
But the wind blew it upwards,
And pinned me to my trolley.

And hats I find are no good either,
They blow off in the second,
So what to wear in hurricanes,
Is something to be reckoned.

If I choose to wear a jersey,
The sun decides to shine,
And I end up hot and sweaty,
Which is enough to make me whine.

My problem is it changes,
Quite suddenly at that,
Four seasons in an hour,
And that's no lie, but a fact.

So no matter what the weather,
I'm doomed to get it wrong,
I'll be so glad when it is summer,
So I can wear my beach sarong!
