What is truth,
In a world always changing?
What is truth,
When pain seems overwhelming?
Those whispered words catch me...
I am truth,
Always constant never changing.
I am truth,
steadfast when pain consumes thee.
I am the rock to which you can cleave.
I am the Truth, I am Jesus Christ.
Each whisper,
Catches me, pulls me back, anchors me.
Each whisper,
Reminds me promises can go unbroken.
What is truth,
When my world is dim and lonely?
Christ is my truth,
My rock in when I need him; my shelter forever.
