Untrust
Trust not the mirror
If it’s a picture of horror
And trust not the figures that smile at you.
Trust not the peer
who brings you the fear.
And Trust not the wine
that make you so fine
Trust not the games
that play with you to fame
Trust them not
If they play on you to shame
Trust not the past
nor the shadows it cast
For it disfigures fast
And ‘you’ ravishing would last
Trust not the prayers
That farewells your pyre
But respect the fire
That burns you to thin air
And last but not the least
Trust not this untrust that takes
you to your quest….
