Under The Sea...

I wait for the spring
as I lay down under the sea
hands tied,
feet bound,
down under the sea
no worries and no grief
when you no more able to breathe
it’s such a relief
world without life is so rife
without sorrow,
I would prefer a tomorrow
down below the pit-less
sea,
don’t have to fit
into the world as a misfit
don’t have to save myself,
the earth and you
don’t need no more love,
don’t need you,
your pity,
as I lay down at the
bottom of the sea
watch life pass by
as bubbles and fizzles,
see happiness all around
it is not for me,
or was not for me,
as I am not around,
it is so calm,
under the sea
I thought, I fell in love
once, with you?
I used to just hang around
you,
but I was still invisible to you,
when I needed you
I could not find
the route,
to your heart
to be with you,
close to you,
now I am fine.
no worries and no grief
to be with you,
as I lay down deep
under the sea.
