Trojan Soldier
Trojan Soldier
Protik Osman
Saddest of the people
Running through the shores.
Black macaws
Covers the sky.
And everything was
Gloaming bright.
Mace-faced puppies
Running through the sand,
And behind them was
A Trojan soldier.
A soldier whose running leg pressed, when stopped
Against the beach’s beautiful.
He ran and then stopped-
Can see him well,
He was like a man from hell.
His armor was bold
And one sword, which was gold,
On the helmet was written in English:
One City of Troy.
His face was full of joy
And too was sorrow.
After some time he ran away
From this gracious beach.
And saw them all
Very clear.
As if all were
Nor so clear.
