To Sing With You
To My Loving Daughter
My dear daughter, I wish to sing with you,
But distance keeps me away -
A material distance set by (fate) destiny.
I make timely regrets,
I endeavour for immediate affinity;
But to sacrifice Geographical comforts.
I transform my tears to prayers unto HIm,
And He answers me in silence:
Set sail, currents and tides might come and go,
Nothing be at your ship for it's my voyage with you.
My dear, let me stop timely regrets,
And let me wait awhile to set sail,
For my heart laden with mundane cares.
My dear, let sit in prayers,
And He shall open a way of courage,
And I shall sing with you,
And the Day is not far.
