Through That Smile of Yours
Igniting a small
Spark of courage,
I glance at your face,
Capturing the image
Of your angelic face
Accented by the
Magnificent canvas
Of the sunset sky
Feeling my stare,
You glance my way,
A sudden heat
Travel up my face,
And I look away
With regret again,
Step, step, step,
We walk on without
Any words exchanged,
Missing the picture
Of perfection,
I glance back again,
Bu-thump, Bu-thump, Bu-thump
Turning my head a bit
And catching your eyes
With the corner of my mine,
Could I be any happier,
Or scared than
How I'm feeling now,
A warm, gentle hand,
Brushing nonchalantly
Playfully, even,
Against mine,
Lingering there,
Spark of courage,
And something more
Ignites, jumps, and dances,
What am I to do,
Such a feeling,
Cannot be compressed
In couple of words like
'I love you'
