The Woods
The trees flow around me
The cool air whips my face
The green of the tree
I have left no trace
I see my dogs running with pure adrenaline
The peace of the woods along no trail
The pure happiness of my dogs
The fast wagging tails
I find a nice tree
The urge to sit down hits me
I watch my dogs and I watch the tree that is thin
It is time for me to think, find what’s within
I need to start over
It’s time to end this persona
My true self always running
It is time to show my true self, a new beginning
