The Seal

The ocean cold is it's home

Swimming all day it's livelihood

Slick fur black and mottled

Tossing and turning beneath the salty waves

Dark eyes glossy as chrome

Rolling and playing, making waves and foam

Laying in the sun on a raft of driftwood

Amongst the forest of seaweed they mingled

Exploring every nook of of a sea-cave

The ocean wide it's free to roam
