I love when people I love
Say they love me.
I sigh and love and trust when people I love
Say they’ll never leave me.
I weep when people I love
Go away and don’t come back.
I hate and weep and sigh when people I love
Say they hate me.
I hate when the people I love
Aggravate me.
I hate myself when I begin to hate
The people I love.
