The Paradox Of Time
Time can build
Yet time can break.
Time can hurt
And yet,
Time can heal.
Time is mysterious
Yet, so powerful.
Time can be on your side
Or time can break you apart.
Time can give you all
But time can take away all.
Still…
Time is so mysterious,
And will be forever powerful.
Perhaps…
Time was on my side
When it brought you to me.
The ray of the sun
That your hair embraces
As serene as the sunset
Your face I will remember
And as blue as the clear sky
Your eyes it reflects.
Time can build
Yet time can break.
Time can hurt
And yet,
Time can heal.
Time is mysterious
And will remain powerful.
