The Green Eyed Damsel
The Green-Eyed Damsel
Bouyed up with imagination
It all started
In innocence
The precipice
An ephiphany
Turning and turning
The host glossed over
The slick smooth togue
The grey blue eye
Bothered about nothing
But itself
Each sitting ended
On ordering
The word
Afloat
From the shore
Sinking half-mast
Missed by the host
Licked by the ghost.
The desire
All barriers past
To woo or woe
A fluttering paper
The green-eyed damsel
Innocence attacked.
