Thanks for thy genial generosity
That yanked the yoke of secluded
Intimacy
For the sizzling smile
I wear in a sultry sun
Thanks for the emotional euphoria
Parceled at the tensed hour of impecunious
Puzzle
For thy shrewd profligacy
You are known for
Thanks would have been enough
If I have the willed spell
To cast back in time
And tell you in layman’s way that
I AM GRATEFUL.
