Thank You' I said
I wrote a short poem
on inclement weather,
thinking I was being clever,
but one reader said:
'Yes, often there's snow
when the temperature's low,
but tell us something we don't know;
not in an essay or composition
but rhythm and rhyme
in recognition of the modern
technology exhibition'.
Thank you I said
for your helpful comment,
my pen is at hand
and I'll write a sonnet.
