Temporary Home
The earth is just my home
until I say goodbye
I'll live here till the time comes
to go up in the sky
That's where I'll stay
at the side of the Lord
in a perfect place
where I'll never get bored
I'll see my family
and the people I love
once the gates open
to the heavens above
I'll sing with the angels
and praise our king
the trumpets will sound
and the bells will ring
But for now, I live on earth
to visit Paris, London, and Rome
and cherish my life
and my temporary home.
