Stars in the Sky
Stars, in the sky
So bright, so beautiful,
Want to touch them,
Wish I could fly
Their proximity is deceiving,
Although many light years away,
I’d do anything to see them,
I could watch them all day
Just a collapsing cloud,
Their sheer presence in the sky,
Gives personality to a dead night,
Portraying its beauty,
It is no longer shy
Stars, in the sky
So bright, so beautiful,
Want to touch them,
Wish I could fly
They are seen everywhere,
Populating the vast sky,
Priceless, in their profound existence,
So close, but yet so far, and so high
Emanating purity and power,
On a dark, clear night,
The sky blossoms like a flower
Indeed, Stars in the sky
So bright, so beautiful,
I want to touch them,
Wish I could fly
