Souls Of Weather

In spring as we shed our clothes
The humble trees wear robes of green
We thank god that winter has left
How a wonderful weather it is
How a merry scene it is
But what can the servants of god do
Of the scorching hot air that arrives on our doorsteps when may fades
O how unwelcoming it is
It makes us forgive the cold biting weather
It makes the servants raise up their hands to thy lord and say;
''May winter come on fragrant winds
And bind us in its cruel cold wings''
