Soldier Of Fortune
laid my weapons down
today, had one too many
days of spite.
laid my hands down
today, they carressed
one head too few.
laid my soul down
today, had I only been
wiser. Sooner...
Laid my body down
today. I ain't gonna be
nobody's soldier no more.
