On This Lonely Night 'Continue the Fight
This is such a lonely night
Wondering if I should continue the fight
And if I should even stay
To see if I make it into the next day
I'm so so lonely for you
Knowing how much my love for you is true
Wishing I could see
My one and only
Walking down this lonely street
Watching as the rain drops
Slowly hit my feet
Hoping it never ever stops
The lightning streaks across
The stormy night sky
The rain keeps falling
Like it's wanting me to die
I think to give up the fight
On this oh so lonely night
But instead I think of you
And then I know what I must do
My eyes must dry
No more tears can I cry
I will get out of the middle of the street
And no more rain drops will hit my feet
I love you too much die
And the pain eases
knowing you love me too
Showing what love can put you through
I finally go inside
Lay on my bed
Then close my eyes
And end this lonely night
