On my wife's birthday
My goodness, my goodness, October is here
Your birthday has come, Marina, my dear
On October 3rd,1961
The girl was born, my wife to become
The one and only that I truly love
My beautiful woman, my better half
I will let you in on a little secret
I was also born in the same bed
As fates would have it, three years apart
But the link existed, from your heart to my heart
In distant countries we lived our lives
Yet, were unable to sever the ties
It finally made us to meet face to face
As parts of the whole, got a chance to embrace
We were friends at first, then a wild romance
The Golden woman didn’t give you a chance…
I remember one time, in Florida Keys
We were in heat, like two busy bees
All night, on a lawn, we were falling in love
And a strange creature hovered above
Forget the years that had passed
And went away into the past
We celebrate your life today
On your 48th, no,18th B-day
