On Inspiration
I cannot tell you
How inspiration works
But I can tell you this:
At times,
No, not when listening
To music or being
Under trees,
It strikes me
As suddenly as lightning,
Waiting for the phone to
Ring - a clamour,
And then I stand
In the middle of
Nowheres
Writing.
