October 19
(Dedicated to my boyfriend who passed away on October 19 2005 of brain tumor)
It has been some time,
October 19 was the last,
3 years and this stage still has no cast,
There have been attempts, oh there do,
But why can’t the play continue?
It has been some time,
The scripts are still from your line,
Back then, it sounded so fine,
It still is, but not to the mind,
Call it divine intervention but I call it divine.
Oh it has been some time,
A new cast is now here,
It’s the best so as I hear,
Should I let him come near?
But it means I have to replace you my dear,
Oh whisper to me, don’t dropp a tear,
I have a tissue but you ain’t near.
It has been some time,
And it still is.
