Nation Under Siege
When the deficit is up and the Country is bankrupt
then they shall know
Why the reindeer paws were really on the house top
Why Humpy Dumpty was on the wall and
why Pinocchio Had to be a Liar
When unemployment is at an all time high and pollution on the rise
then they shall know
Why the Emperor's new clothes were invisible
Why Little Red Riding Hood was walking in the woods no less and
why her basket was taken
Why Sleeping Beauty slept right through those stressful trials of life and
why that old wolf kept hassling those three little innocent pigs
Just wait and see
When the deficit is up and the Country is bankrupt
then they shall know
they will finally know
Why the ugly duckling was the prettiest of them all an alas
Why little Cinderella became a Princess
Oh Yes
Then They Shall Know
