Mysterious Beautiful Stranger

I once upon a time dreamt of a beautiful mysterious stranger
He didn’t wear a mask or a cloak and no he wasn’t Zorro
He opened up my heart and let himself in
Don’t ask of me how or when
He handed me the key
And now I hold it safe

This mysterious beautiful stranger
Bears gifts of flowers each time he visits
No not Roses or Orchids
But beautiful simple wildflowers
Buttercups and Daisies with a few Peonies
We sit at the table and talk about poetry
Sipping on hot coffee
We laugh and giggle and share precious talk
Listening to Mozart and Vivaldi
Bringing the seasons to our hearts

This mysterious beautiful stranger
With eyes that smile and would bring the moon to her knees
Laughter full of gaiety that summons a dance to your feet
Wise for his years ambitious young vivacious and bright
So very full of life
He wants to break all limits and cross every border
Just so that he can live his life but not to some fiddlers tune

This mysterious beautiful stranger
A glimpse of him I did see
A place in my heart and a room in my home
A friend for life and a sister for keeps
So here’s a heartful of love n stuff
A heartfelt prayer to turn my dream into a reality
Especially for you
My mysterious beautiful stranger
