My Mom is So Special
My mom is so special,
My mom is so unique,
Her certain errands make me freak.
My mom offers a glass of milk,
which without hesitation,
i put in sink.
I say i want burger, pizza, chowmin,
She says its not considered healthy in our kin.
She cooks 'something special' to give us surprise,
but from fridge i steal it,
as if its my birth right.
At times we fight,
because each of us feel,
'i am' right.
She cribs on to watch saas bahu saga,
but i insist better than it is 'alam ara'.
i tell her about my tensions,
my college life,
but housemaid is what her interest is like.
Oh god!
I wonder at times,
what a strange creature she is?
Mumma says 'baby stay at home,
on roadside its not safe for you to roam.'
I am obstinate, i am stubborn,
i ignore her and move out,
but everytime a new lesson i learn.
I realise mom is true in her advice,
its not 'as we' think of life.
My mom is so special,
my mom is so unique,
One can't be comfortable,
as much as with her i feel.
