My Daily Ritual
On waking and rising
First foot to touch the floor
Thank you thank you thank you
Second foot to touch the floor
Thank you thank you thank you
Such is my daily ritual
in respect, adoration and honor
of my creator
Without daily thanks
we cannot move forward
we will remain as we are
Without daily thanks
we cannot appreciate
what we are or who we can become
Without understanding this fact
we remain trapped in our own
limiting abilities
Gratitude can set us free
