My Cancer Of The Mind
They say let me see that smile
big and wide
happy and honest
let me see that smile.
but i cant smile
so i drink some water
swallow their hopes in the form of a pill
and i smile
small and sweet
numb and unknowing
(can't feel my pain growing)
and i wounder if you cant feel cancer if it's anyless fatal or anyless real
so i take the pills and smile
soft&kind
forever silenceing my deadly cancer of the mind
