Bringing with it
The Mourning Son

Carrying His
Forced Death
on his back
Shunned by those who had loved him
Mock by those he'd shown his love
The Mourning Son rose over the hill
Held only by three nails
Then
Uttered but four more words
Eli! Eli! Lama sabachtani?
Then
The tears
Burning
Stinging
Weeping for those he had lost
