Love is desolate
Romance is temporary
Affection is everything
Heartbreaks are perpetual
Soothing the extraordinary pain you’d embrace
If for a split second you could escape
Such heartbreak and just live on
As if nothing ever happened,
Would you take the chance?
If you could go back in time
And rewrite history before things fell apart,
Would you do it?
Will you ever realize
That none of this can ever happen to you?
