Let the Sun Shine
We pollute the water
We poison the land
We burn all our trees
For supply and demand
The sun won’t shine
And frankly, I don’t blame it
We screwed this world up
But we can still save it
We use nuclear attacks
And kill the human race
We wipe our whole cultures
Cuz we don’t like their face
The sun wants to shine
But it cannot bare
To watch us destroy ourselves
Without even a care
We need the sun
It’s our source of life
So don’t let the sun die
Because of our strife
Work it all out
I know you can do it
Don’t just kill, people
Try to work through it
