Labour Day

What I saw on Labour Day

Could not stop me to say

What are we doing with labourers

When they should have some favours

They work even in bitter sunlight

Because of them we are inside

We should not maltreat them

What if we were like them

If we had got these hardships

We might not have been able to bear all this

So we ought to stop this discrimination

All the Muslims are alike, taught our religion

We shall have to stand unite

To make the future of Pakistan bright.

Mahjabeen Aslam Butt, Pakistan
