June Bug
A June bug
flying around
in late September
I think I’ll move to L.A.
sit in the sunshine
at a sidewalk Deli
and drink beer all day
and mix it up
with Hollywood’s best
scary, wide-eyed
cosmetically enhanced
West coast fags and sluts
I’ll walk to Malibu
with a six pack
and a note pad
passing up rides by actors
and electric girls
blowing off getting it on
in shorts and Babylon music
scraping every bit
of lust and misery
from a world of wealth
and damn good scenery
and fine sushi
wrapped in fiberglass
and served cold and ugly
with a bit of sex
by a woman with
a limp and a
moustache fascination
believe it
I’m thinking
I’ll go to L.A.
And trip around with a baja sweater
ordering Vegan tacos
in a fantastic
carefully delivered
Southern drawl
