It hurts to know
A picture...
says more than a thousand words
tells a story of our everyday memory
a memory that stays with us forever
forever may never last
it won't last because it burns
burns us deep within
with so many wounds
who could ever heal
pain from a beautiful knife
who ever thought it could hurt so much
Reality may not sound so sweet
sweet as candy could be
a candy has different flavors
it melts in your mouth so easily
love has one flavor and its called happiness
happiness brings out the good and the bad
perfectionism no one has
because with flaws and all; a picture, memory, pain, love and happiness
they wont fill the cracks to an empty heart
that may never feel as one
