Ian Curtis

on his brain a thousand things
he can't keep on living the depression it brings
the crowd cheers out his name
but he can't hear them he stays the same
the thoughts in his mind where so unreal
it's hard to understand what he would feel
his emotions would blossom whilst on stage
he would let loose and escape his cage
he then met a girl from up above
stuck in the middle of opposite loves
this then began to tear him in two
lock himself away was all he could do
the fits then began to show
every second he would feel more low
until it came to the last night
which would give all his followers such a fright
the thing is we'l never know
what this man had to show
the depression he had shall never leave
through his poems and songs it shall weave
he always had his plan from a young age
die in your twenties and earn a wage
